How will AECI ensure security at the power plant?
Associated Electric Cooperative's No. 1 strategic objective is safety. At the Dell plant, a fence surrounds the perimeter of the property to protect the plant. All gates are locked. Security cameras will be placed at the facility to help ensure the safety and security of  employees, visitors and property. All employees will be trained to respond to emergencies and patrol the property to prevent intrusion.
Would an emergency at AECI's plant draw services away from the local community?
AECI's No. 1 strategic objective is safety. The cooperative ensures the safety of its employees and protects its property by training and equipping employees to provide emergency response at the power plant. In addition to well-trained employees, the power plant will include fire detection and suppression systems throughout. The city of Blytheville fire department also will provide 24-hour emergency response.
