Meet Darnell, the mojo behind our mission

It takes knowledge, know-how, awareness and legwork to ensure the 580-megawatt, three-unit Dell Power Plant runs safely and efficiently. Darnell is part of that team. As an outside operator, he says he is the eyes and ears for the control room operator as he makes rounds to ensure equipment is running right and to catch any issues before problems develop. His favorite part of the job is learning and he’s training to be a control room operator, a “big change and big challenge,” he said, but he’s got his manager’s support, so “taking the next step is really a thrill to me.”
