John Singleton
Director; General manager, M&A Electric Power Cooperative
Singleton joined Associated Electric's board of directors in January 2025 after being named general manager of M&A Electric Power Cooperative. Prior to M&A Electric, Singleton worked at Black River Electric Cooperative in Fredericktown, Missouri, for more than 34 years, serving the last 10 years as general manager/chief executive officer.
He is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University (now Missouri State University) with a degree in business and also completed NRECA’s Robert L. Kabat Management Internship Program. He is married to Gayla Singleton, and they have two adult children.
